Task

 

This assessment task requires you to use material from your reflective journal developed throughout this unit and:

  1. Evaluate two of your areas of strength and two areas for development, in terms of your knowledge, skills or values relevant to effective communication.
  2. Using literature, discuss how each of these communication strengths and areas for development is significant for ethical practice in your chosen profession.
  3. Describe two strategies you will use to address your identified areas for development and improve your communication for future practice in your chosen profession.

 

 

Presentation

 

The paper must be typed on a word processor; contain an introduction that outlines the logical structure of your paper and a conclusion that critically reflects on the implications of your paper.

 

 

Assessment criteria

 

The essay will be assessed according to the following criteria:

       Evidence of ability to critically reflect and evaluate communication strengths and areas for development using academic literature (40%)

       Demonstrated understanding of effective and ethical communication, relevant to the chosen profession (40%)

       Clarity of expression and adherence to essay writing standard (flow, logic, punctuation, grammar and spelling (10%)

       Evidence of wide reading (use of no less than 8 references from academic journals and texts) and adherence to referencing standards (APA 7th). At least 3 of these will be from the unit materials (10%)

 Introduction

Information technology is commonly connected with the application of technology to market company problems. The IT workplace is introduced toward designed technologies like OSes, hardware systems and application software. Ability in IT is needed to determine the software and hardware elements that always be utilized to improve a characteristic interchange method. Information Technology professionalism work with a mixture of technologies, like server communications devices, OSes, and software applications.

Feedback is also important for the IT profession. Feedback from customers will help IT, workers, to make development in their current software. According to the above discussion it outcomes the IT profession is nowadays good for their working life. Some issues are faced by IT profession works. They always need to be good in their communication skill and always need to follow the feedback given by the customers.
